Australian Multi Millionaire owner buys “Noble Heir” off Gavelhouse
Multi millionaire racehorse owner and Ultra Tune Executive Chairman, Sean Buckley, has snapped up GR1 winning mare “Noble Heir” in South Africa. Breeding is a big part of Buckley’s Ultra Thoroughbreds and he said he had spent considerable funds on acquiring well performed stock in the past 3 years, at home and in South Africa.
The owner of 2007 Champion Australian Race Horse of the Year “Miss Andretti” who achieved international fame winning the 2007 Kings Stand at Royal Ascot in England along with 6 other GR1 victories. Sean has previously had group success with earlier South African purchases in “Perfect Promise”, dual GR1 winner in South Africa and Australia, “Battle Maiden” who was Champion 3yo filly, “Dane Julia”, another Dual Gr1 winner in both South Africa and New Zealand, the former Oaks winner in “Happy Spirit” and former GR1 winner “Emblem Of Liberty”.
Noble Heir is currently in quarantine, with Buckley still deciding on her racing plans for the future. Noble Heir, a multiple Group winner has had a wonderful year winning 4 races and placed 4 times, highlighting her dominant win in the GR 1 Turffontein Computaform Sprint in May 2010.
