Antonius Pius, one of the sensations of the new season, was represented by another debut winner on Monday.

His son, Mod Barley, made a winning debut, beating a smart field of more experienced runners over 1100 metres.

His sire, Antonius Pius, has now been represented by six runners, for four winners.

The son of Danzig has made a superb start with his first local crop of runners, and his progeny have greatly impressed thus far.
