HANDSOME RANSOM was the foundation stallion at Wellfield Lodge in 2007, having originally commenced his New Zealand stud career at the former Ashwell Farm in Cambridge.

Heavily supported by the Wellfield Lodge broodmare band, the son of RED RANSOM has quickly earned a reputation for his ability to leave winners in all our key markets including Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau.

This season has been the best to date for Handsome Ransom, with two brand new Group Race winners, namely Weissmuller (WRC Wellington Stakes-Gr.3) and Ransomed (Manawatu Cup-Gr.3).
