Marmottan | Bay Entire (2001)
The Right Type Of 'REDOUTE'S CHOICE'
'Marmottan' a young Stallion making a name for himself from very limited opportunities. Very few horses can grace the turf and win 3 races on end.Destined for bigger things, but sadly sustained an injury.
This son of 'Redoute's Choice', has the classical confirmation of the high class sons of this breed shaping stallion. Standing 16.2hh with exceptional length, a classic jowl and big shoulder.
From a Rancher mare descended from the family of 'Speeding Fine' a successful stallion in Queensland. The female pedigree features no less than 12 Stakes performers in the first 3 generations.
Marmottan's strength is his ability to throw foals in the mould of himself, impressive types frequently carrying the white star. He has produced excellent size from maiden mares and upgrades average mare types. See yearling, 2nd picture below.
Marmottan produced a stakes placed 2yr old in his first crop from 9 runners.
He currently has 3 winners from 14 runners in his 2nd crop including a metropolitan winner.
Several unraced 3yr olds are very close to racing and are in the stables of trainers such as David Jolly, Darren Weir, Nikki Burke, Peter Morgan.
Also pictured, is a stunning, well developed Yearling filly from the sire 'Marmottan', who appears she could be an early runner.
Regrettably the decision has been taken to find Marmottan a new home where he may get the opportunity to excel.
NEWS UPDATE: 2 x new winners in 2 weeks for MARMOTTAN. recently Spartini winning at Ballarat & across the Tasman, Rosetti won nicely...
