Welcome to the first Klawervlei Stock Farm sale, being held on Sunday 24 July, 2011. This venture is aimed at selling yearlings as in days past.

The yearlings are basically unprepared and come to the sale off more than a year in large camps out in the veld. The recognance of the yearlings bred by the mighty Birch Brothers arriving at Gosforth Park by train un-broken, un-prepared and wild, are legendry. They had to be lassoed through latches on top of the train trucks to get them to the stables!

Ours will be shown and walked properly, but they will be rough and tough. No blankets and no shiny sleek coats.
