More Juvenile Winners For NADEEM

By LA Little Avondale July 12 2012

Nadeem had dual success with two-year-olds when the youngsters Volcanic Sky (Nadeem-Fleur De L’Orient) and Vavavic (Nadeem-Special Sequence) won in Australia on Sunday. Interestingly Volcanic Sky’s pedigree features a duplication of Sound Reason.

The juvenile double follows the win of his three-year-old filly Diamonds Are Blue (Nadeem-True Jewels) over 1400m at Te Rapa last Wednesday. Nadeem, whose oldest crop are three-year-olds, stands his inaugural LA season for the value fee of $8,000 plus GST.

Cheville (Pins-Bering Island), a fresh-up winner over 1000m in Victoria last Friday, was bought from our 2009 Karaka Select Sale draft by Troy Corstens.

The LA bred Towcutter (Towkay-Eva’s Belle) took his stake earnings to the cusp of $150,000 with his latest Australian win, a 1100m event in Victoria last week.

LA Little Avondale
The Little Avondale of today claims a proud history from the past, with the third generation of Williams carrying the thoroughbred legacy forward. With Sam and Catriona picking up the reins of Little Avondale in 2005, it's clear the traditions laid down by Alistair and Nancy Williams have carried over into the new millennium. As Sam Williams says, "'Little Avondale, Big on Winning,' might be a new brand but my grandparents' commitment to quality will never change. "This is still a family business."
