36 individual winners this season for KEEPER

By Cambridge Stud July 03 2012

The win of He’s Dan (Keeper ex She’s Possessed) in yesterday’s Price Racing 1400 at Matamata took Keeper’s individual tally of winners in New Zealand this season to 36.

It’s been another successful season for Keeper both on the domestic front and further afield.

The Lisa Latta-trained Platinum Princess has been Keeper’s best performer on the home front with Group Two victories in the Coupland’s Bakeries Mile and Rich Hill Mile.  Innovation is another by Keeper to win at black type level this season; the 3YO winning her last four runs straight including the Listed Tauranga Classic.

In Australia Keeper has had stakes success with Tiakinui (Seymour Cup-LR), while Miss Keepsake was second at Group One level in the Queen of the Turf Stakes.

It’s been another excellent season for the stock of Keeper in Hong Kong.  He’s had 13 individual winners there so far this season; only Encosta de Lago (14) and Danehill Dancer (14) have done slightly better.

Keeper’s fee for 2012 has been set at $15,000 + gst and a live foal guarantee applies, click here for further details.
