Twilight Granita Stakes Placed ...Again

Two-year-old filly Twilight Granita (NZ) (Iffraaj) has been a super consistent performer for her sire this season and on Saturday added further blacktype to her pedigree when third in the Listed Graeme Thomson Jewellers Great Northern Foal Stakes (1400m).

From seven starts for the Murray Baker-stable this season, Twilight Granita has finished third on six occassions including another stakes placing in the Listed ARC Champagne Stakes (1600m) on the 14th of April.

Freshman sire Iffraaj (GB) (Zafonic) has enjoyed a solid start to his Southern Hemisphere career with two stakes performers - the other being the Group Two-placed Liberating (NZ) - multiple winners Fix and So Wotif as well as a raft of promising performers who have been placed or trials performed and have been sent straight to the spelling paddock.

Iffraaj will stand at Haunui Farm in 2012 for a fee of $17,500 + GST.
