KEEPER mare (winner of 4 races) in-foal to BACHELOR DUKE

KEEPERINTHEMYST showed herself to be a talented and genuine race performer. Winning four, she demonstrated good speed up to 1600m, weighing in 16 of her 28 race starts.

Rated as a ‘Group Class filly’ on potential, an early race accident meant the best was never seen of her on the track.

KEEPERINTHEMYST is a strongly built 16.1hh bay mare. She has a wonderful relaxed and friendly temperament and is a pleasure to handle.

A wonderful pedigree... KEEPERINTHEMYST’S fourth dam Fairy Bridge is the dam of the legendary sire SADLER’S WELLS and his full-brother FAIRY KING, as well as being a half-sister to the dam of champion sire NUREYEV.

KEEPER is a proven young sire with 23 stakes winners, including six Group One winning fillies. His spectacular success as a sire of fillies makes him an exciting future prospect as a broodmare sire.

KEEPERINTHEMYST’S first foal (now a yearling) is the striking filly pictured by SAKHEE’S SECRET. Good sized, good bone, she is a very good example of what can be expected from the mare’s future foals.

KEEPERINTHEMYST carries a positive pregnancy test to the up-and-coming proven young sire BACHELOR DUKE. She is due to foal October 22.

Named as New Zealand’s Champion First Season Sire in 2008/09, Bachelor Duke’s initial first crop of just 49 colts and fillies saw him named also as New Zealand’s Champion Second Season Sire. His biggest crop of 97 foals are three-year-olds of 2012-13.
