Thunder Ridge Stud has been lucky to obtain the two times stakes winning stallion Fubu (AUS) - Last Tycoon (IRE) x Hospitable (AUS) by the great Luskin Star (AUS). Fubu won the VATC Shannons Classic 1800 in 2001 and the VATC Guineas Prelude 1400 in 2000. He has proved himself to be a fine Race Horse as well as a proven Stallion, his history reads so far - 
Fubu (AUS) (Bay 1997-Stud 2002, 3 wins, VATC Shannons Classic, Gr.2. and the VATC Guineas Prelude. Sire of 100 runners, 64 winners, inc. SP, Merchant with prize money of $364,865.00 and of Gusinsky, Kindy Kid, Sassy Bay, Fubah, Mighty Obvious, Maktuub, Sayaprayerforme, Darbu, Fubusue, Finley Point, Mannerbu, Difuyung, Navaho Trail, Bosley, Demoriane, Futonic, Persian Gold, Street Twoforty, Fu Min Bu, Keyedup, Natonda, Neylabu, Old Jimmy, Rebu, St Malady, Another Dawn, Ashland, Bettagetawriggleon, Eight Dragon, etc.


He will be a real asset to the Queensland industry as well as Thunder Ridge Stud as he brings with him some top class Australian Breeding and a good record of getting winners. It is our aim to promote Australian bred horses with a good Australian bred background which we feel is being lost. Fubu has no Danehill in him so he will have a large pool of good mares to pull from. It is our intention to breed with Quality mares and not concentrate on Quantity.



Fubu (AUS) has produced 128 named foals for 100 runners with 64 winners 14 placed + 1 stakes placed for total prize money won, being $2,317,849,00. This is a great strike rate and he has proven he is a great sire without having a stakes winner, which I feel, will come soon. So jump in on the ground floor now. He will surely get you a good bread and butter horse at the very least.

Fubu has sired Metro Winners in every state in Australia. He should also prove to be a good broodmare sire being by Last Tycoon, one on the leading sires of filly's to race including Typhoon Tracy, Danana, Sun Classique, Inspiration Onemorenomore and more, being amongst 20 Group One winners world wide out of Last Tycoon mares. With Fubu having the same Last Tycoon / Star Kingdom cross of Iglesia and being out of another champion broodmare sire Luskin Star, you would think that his fillies will be in big demand in the future as broodmares. During Fubu's racing days he was successful up to 1800 mtrs. His progeny are winning from 1000 mtrs to 2000 mtrs, so his progeny have plenty of scope.
