Pendragon | Bay Entire (2002)
Think Big Stud has high aspirations for emerging Sire PENDRAGON
From limited opportunities, former promising racehorse, PENDRAGON, has shown that he can sire winners in Australia, Hong Kong and New Zealand and over a variety of distances. From only 3 crops of racing age, PENDRAGON continues to produce multiple winners.
In 2012, Hong Kong trainer, John Size, unleashed a promising young sprinter in THE PEAK. His record at Sha Tin Racecourse was 5 consecutive wins from 7 starts and has relocated to Australia and will be placed under the care of master trainer Bart Cummings with the Spring Carnival riches in mind.
The first crop of racehorses by PENDRAGON has produced multiple winners THE PEAK (5), DARK BROWN SUGAR (4), BLAZING DRAGON (3), YURRAPENDI (3), THAT'S KARMA (3), MILITARY MANOR (3), DRAGONZONE (3) AND SHEN LONG (2).
The second crop appears destined to carry on this momentum with runners including the recent export, GLORIOUS SUNDAY who after two starts is heading in the right direction with the powerful stable of John Size in Hong Kong and all off a service fee of $10,000 or less which makes PENDRAGON a very affordable choice to breed city class winners.
Of his latest crop, PENDRAGON had a further 2 year old winner, when ABBA won at Balaklava for trainer, Phillip Stokes.
We expect to see, hitherto unraced horses break their maidens out of the Bart Cummings stable and other stables around the country in the near future.
