Husson | Chestnut Entire (2003)
The Leading First Season Sire by Winners in Australia.
The world record breaking champion and multiple Group 1 winning sprinter/miler HUSSON, won Argentina's Golden Slipper equivalent by over nine lengths. He also ran an astonishing 1.18.98 for 1400m which still ranks as one of the fastest times over that distance in the world.
With such an impressive background, it came as no surprise to see his first crop in Australia take the racing industry by storm. His two year olds have made a fantastic start, highlighted by first starter HUSSOUSA who devastated the field in the listed Gimcrack Stakes on debut.
Husson's ongoing list of dominant winners include Affable, who was impressive taking out the Gibson Carmichael Stakes and Ferment ,winner of the MRC Laura Butcher Memorial and 3rd in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude. While wins by Glimmer and Maury also in Victoria, have helped HUSSON dominate the first season sires premiership by wins and winners.
