Inspect Colt by California Dane

California Dane has made a great start to his stud career as the fast son of Danehill closed off the 2011-12 season with his first stakes winner, and, it was recorded at Flemington.

Hoegaarden, broke his maiden in the best possible manner in a stakes event at just his third start last Spring at Ascot when he beat Playing God in the Listed Fairetha Stakes (1400m).

Along with Fire Thunderbolt, Lake Sententia (ex Talk of Egypt) was runner up in the Group 2 Matriarch Stakes (2000m) at Flemington during Melbourne Cup week and the bay filly is now the winner of four races from seven starts with earnings of more than $150,000.
